The Doggie Diva's 2009 Paws In Motion Experience
Many of our team members have raised money or volunteered individually for the WHS Paws In Motion in the past.
This year we had decided to raise money for the Paws In Motion as a team.

We became the Doggie Divas.
With Dr. Braha away on holidays the rest of the staff (all being female) thought the name suited us well.
On June 7th we held a dog wash, car wash & bbq in hopes that our total sum of money raised would sky-rocket. We definitly had the right idea.
Our fundraiser was held from 11:00am - 4:00pm and we had a steady flow of cars, trucks & dirty dogs for the whole five hours.
At the end of the day, we had raised $1000!

On June 28 we arrived early at Assiniboine Park to organize our team costume. We were equipped with boas, tiaras, wands and wigs! We have Tanyss to thank for the great Doggie Diva shirts.
We won Best Dressed Team & Top Fundrasing Veterinary Clinic and all had a great time!

With the donations from our car wash, dog wash & bbq and all of our individual donations gathered...we raised just over $2500!!
Thank you for your wonderful support and we are hoping to make next year's fundraising for the Paws In Motion bigger and better!!
