2007 - 2008  STATISTICS

• With each year that passes we always hope that the number of animals our local shelters take in decreases but unfortuntely that isn't the case.
• The Winnipeg Humane Society is always working hard to inform and educate the public about animal rights but more importantly it is our job as veterinarians and their many support staff to stress the responsibility that comes along with owning pets (big or small) and of educating clients of proper care - Not being just medical. 
• Before choosing a new pet for your family please think about the many shelter animals living day after day without a loving home.
