Q – Why do we feel that intravenous (IV) fluids &
at home pain relief are mandatory for all of our surgeries?
A – As each year goes on pets are becoming an increasingly larger
part of the ‘family’. We ourselves would never go through any type
of surgery without adequate pain relief afterwards and we feel that
our pets at home deserve the same treatment. IV fluids will keep your pet hydrated throughout surgery and we have an access point into the vein in case an emergency arises. We take all of our surgeries, being routine (i.e., spaying, neutering or declawing) or not routine all very seriously and they deserve the same amount of medical attention.

Q – Are we associated as being part of Petland?
A – No, Best Friends Animal Hospital is owned and operated by Dr. N. McQuade.
However, we all work very closely together as a team to ensure that all of the animals at all of the Petland Superstores receive the best veterinary care possible.
