Welcome!
- If you have the desire to improve your relationship with your dog, then our training program is for you! It will require patience, a will to learn from both you and your dog, and a desire to have fun while you train "Fido".
- Our obedience training classes will help you understand and control "Fido" before "Fido" gets control of you!
- Training is an ongoing process and we will attempt to help you avoid training mistakes before they become a problem.
- The obedience classes are designed to produce obedient family pets

Course Information
|
The course consists of 6 classes, each 1 hour in length, at a cost of $86.70 plus tax. The obedience classes are designed to produce obedient family pets
|
Puppy Class:
- A basic introductory course for both the owner and puppy that centers around positive reinforcement training methods.
- Open to puppies 3 -6 months of age
- Puppies learn very basic control exercises so as to challenge the growing mind.
- Discussions will be held about the general upbringing and socialization for a growing puppy.
- A 6 foot leash, a buckle collar and treats are all that is needed
|
Beginner Class:
- Greater control exercises are taught with emphasis on solving specific problems that may have arisen.
- Ideal for dogs that are 6 months and older (It is never too late to teach old dogs new tricks!)
- The course is generalized enough to appeal to the average dog owner who has no intention of trialing but wants a good, obedient, reliable pet.
- The following commands will be worked upon....healing, sits, stands, stays and recalls
- Other points of concern will be dealt with during the Q & A period
- A 6 foot leash, choke collar and treats are required
|
Advance Beginner Class:
- This course is designed for those pet owners who may be interested in trialing their dogs in the obedience ring.
- The course is also good for those who just want to have their dog well trained, very obedient, and reliable when out in the public.
- The dog must have completed a beginner level either at Best Friends Obedience Training or another reputable training facility
- We will address specific problems as they arise
- Once again, a 6 foot leash and choke collar and treats are required - less emphasis will be placed on treats.
